Greenford is mainly a house market with a fast-growing flats sector. The bulk of it is interwar — 1930s semis and terraces across Greenford Broadway, North Greenford and Greenford Green — with extensive ex-council housing and, increasingly, new-build. Greenford Quay is a large canal-side regeneration on the former GlaxoSmithKline and Sunblest bakery sites, delivered largely as build-to-rent using modular construction, and there are smaller schemes besides.
