About Richard
Richard Thompson is an Associate Director of Websters Surveyors, a Chartered Surveyor and an RICS Registered Valuer who qualified in 2021.
An experienced and trusted member of the team, Richard has personally carried out thousands of valuations and home surveys over the years — from Level 2 HomeBuyer Reports through to detailed Level 3 building surveys — so there is very little he hasn't seen. Alongside his survey work he prepares residential valuations and undertakes expert witness valuation work for residential property, preparing reports for Court and Tribunal purposes.
As a Sava-trained surveyor and valuer, Richard is well versed in Sava's approach to energy assessment and new-build work, and combines that discipline with practical, on-the-ground survey experience. It's a background that makes him equally at home advising a first-time buyer on a HomeBuyer Report and preparing a formal valuation for expert witness work.
Outside work, Richard likes spending time with his family, travelling, running and watching football.
