Kisharon supports children and young adults with learning disabilities and special needs, predominantly in Hendon, Golders Green and Stamford Hill. Founded in 1976, its vision is a world in which people with learning disabilities have the same opportunities as their peers.

Today, Kisharon offers education, opportunity and support to children and adults with complex and profound learning disabilities, teaching the skills they need to live independently and lead fulfilling lives. At its premises in Child’s Hill — a former library the charity took over — pupils help run the library, the building has been fully adapted to be accessible, and an IT suite hosts IT and email courses.

We donated £1,500 to Kisharon.
