‘Regenerate’ provide support to the youth of Roehampton and surrounding areas. One of their centres is based in the heart of the Alton Estate in Roehampton, which is undergoing Regeneration and which we are involved with.
With local authority funding for youth work across London being heavily cut in recent years, the work that organisations like Regenerate do is hugely needed. Many people have suggested that the increase in violent crime and stabbings on estates in 2018 is partly due to a lack of the sort of services that Regenerate provide.
They were our Director Dan Knowles’ choice for charity in 2018, receiving the sum of £2000 from us, as part of our wider £10,000 donations for the year. Dan said “we’re thrilled to be able to help out charities like Regenerate. We are in the privileged position of being able to support deserving causes financially, something which far more companies should do”.
