A Market Valuation is undertaken of a property where the professional opinion of a firm of Chartered Surveyors is required. Though you may have heard Estate Agents refer to valuations, in reality very few actually provide them. They provide Market Appraisals which are typically far less detailed and certainly far less regulated.

These types of valuations are carried out in accordance with the RICS Red Book standards.
