The RICS Valuation – Global Standards including the UK National Supplement is widely known as the RICS Red Book. It contains mandatory rules and best practice guidance for RICS members including Websters Surveyors who are undertaking a range of Market Valuations.
You may have been asked to obtain a Red Book Valuation and in doing so, you are seeking what is the gold standard in Valuation reporting which is highly regulated (and correctly so).
The Red Book covers an array of different Residential Valuation types, each of which has different reporting requirements and in some circumstances, different ways to Value. It is therefore essential that the correct guidance is followed to ensure that the report provided is of high quality and compliant with our clients needs.

Our reports are compliant with the relevant legislation and also the RICS Red Book (Global Standars) and the UK National supplement. They are very rarely challenged by HMRC and if they are, we are ready to defend them.
