I contacted Webster’s surveyors regarding a property and from the first phone call to the last I found this company... efficient, polite and professional. They are very reasonably priced, they attended the property quickly and the report was also with me quickly. The report was thorough and very easy to understand, and has helped me greatly with the issues found, which will determine if I proceed or not, potentially saving me thousands of pounds.Cannot recommend enough.read more

Property is as much about people as it is about bricks and mortar. We like working with people that we like and we’re happy to recommend fellow professionals. A good reputation is achieved with difficulty and lost easily so who we recommend reflects on us and who recommends us, reflects on them. That’s why working with people we have faith in is so crucially important to protecting our clients interest and our strong reputation.

We often work with and recommend solicitors, conveyancers, other surveyors, mortgage brokers, town planners, architects and other professionals. If you’d like a recommendation, we’re happy to provide one. If you’d like to work with us and our client base, we’re happy to have a chat or meet for a coffee.

We’ve always been proud of the feedback we receive from clients and we continue to try and improve our client experience on a daily basis.

Getting a high quality report should be a given with any RICS Regulated practice like Websters Surveyors. Getting it quickly and to an even higher standard is something we are equally proud to provide.

If you’re asking for valuation or survey advice, perhaps because you’re thinking of buying or selling somewhere, extending your lease, buying a freehold, you have Capital Gains tax to pay or you need a report to help secure Probate or to investigate that worrying identified structural defect, you’re likely to want it quickly. We can provide this and in doing so, we don’t compromise on the high quality advice we provide.

court reports

Valuations for Court reports come in lots of different shapes and sizes but all have a few things in common.

Firstly, they should be undertaken by RICS Registered Valuers. All of our Surveyors hold this accreditation.

Secondly, they are best undertaken by Chartered Surveyors with significant experience in an area of specialism. Three of our team undertake Expert Witness work. They share about 70 years experience between them. Our Court compliant Market Valuation reports are in Residential property valuation, lease extensions and enfranchisement and in Compulsory Purchase Order properties.

Thirdly, they need to comply with the RICS Red Book and it’s associated documents. This is not only best practice for reporting. It also sets out some key factors such as a Duty of Care being to the court process, rather than to individual parties. Reports need to be clear, unambiguous and crucially, completely independent, regardless of who our instructing party is or who is paying our bill.

In most instances, we are appointed as a joint expert by the parties involved, often through one of the solicitors with agreement from both parties.
