Leasehold property alterations Survey
If a leaseholder makes alterations to their property, they may under the terms of their long leasehold agreement, require the landlords consent. For this licence to alter consent, please see our licence to alter page.
Quite often, we find that these Surveys are retrospective ones where a freeholder is requesting the Survey to see if the works have been carried out safely and whether they comply with any requirements in the Licence to alter. Undertaking works without consent is of course very risky as freeholders can often then require that the works are un-done or use the threat of this as leverage to secure a high consent fee.
Regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and with most of our Boundary Identification reports undertaken by a Chartered Surveyor with close to 30 years industry experience, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands with Websters Surveyors.
Our services span most of London and some surrounding areas including Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and parts of Surrey and Sussex.
