reports within a week
When you are instructing a firm of Surveyors, timing may be crucial. You may want your Valuation or Survey report quickly so you know whether to proceed with your purchase or what your tax liability will be or perhaps what it may cost you to extend your lease or buy your freehold.
Our investment into technology has allowed us to act very efficiently, whilst not cutting down on the quality of our reporting – in fact, increasing the quality. This means that we are normally able to provide a high quality report within a week of instruction.
What’s more is that the process is very simple. If you accept our quote for a Valuation or Survey, we’ll send you a very simple instruction form online which takes two minutes to complete and pay for our Survey. We are informed by our system the moment you have completed that and we are then quickly on the phone to whoever required to arrange our inspection.
We work efficiently so you receive a high quality report without having to wait long for it.

Would you pay £10 for to get an HPI check on a second-hand car you are buying for £6,000?
Of course you would. It’s sensible to spend a bit to make sure what you’re buying is what you think you’re buying. Similarly, when you are spending hundreds of thousand of pounds if not more on a property, if not more, something that you cannot return to the seller, it’s surely worthwhile getting it checked out before you do.
Buying a home will most probably be the most expensive purchase of your lifetime and therefore you want to make sure it is the right one. Unfortunately, some homes that appear to be in good condition may have underlying defects that the seller may not be aware of or may be hoping that you don’t find out about. As the buyer, you would want to know before committing to the purchase.
Having a RICS home survey conducted by an independent Chartered Surveyor such as those at Websters Surveyors means that the survey will be undertaken thoroughly and conducted to a high standard. Our Chartered Surveyor has over 30 years of post-qualification experience and you can rest-assured you will be in safe hands.
Statutory tax valuations
Getting a Property Market Valuation may be the last thing you want to do when you’re already going to be paying tax, possibly due to Inheritance or a Capital Gain. However, if you’ve been advised to do so to satisfy HMRC, it’s important to get it right.
The Market Valuation should be robust. It should be detailed. It should support its findings with relevant evidence. To help ensure that it meets these requirements, thereby rendering it defensible to HMRC, it should be carried out in compliance with the RICS Red Book, the gold standard of Valuation reporting.
In most cases, that will mean provision by a qualified Surveyor, an RICS Registered Valuer.
All of our Chartered Surveyors are RICS Registered Valuers and have significant experience in providing Statutory Valuations for tax purposes.
