Whilst many property disputes can be settled through some form of negotiation or mediation, a handful of cases will undoubtedly end up in court. More often than not, the court will require both sides to prepare a compliant report outlining their case, usually done by a Chartered Surveyor acting as an Expert rather than Advocate.
The most common court reports are for lease extension or enfranchisement cases (when necessary) and matrimonial disputes.
At Websters Surveyors, our team of Chartered Surveyors have experience in representing clients at court and undertaking court compliant reports. In situations where a court report may be needed, our Chartered Surveyors will undertake a cost benefit analysis with you, to determine whether going to court is economically viable.
We can also provide Market Valuation reports that are compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
