Websters Surveyors is headed by Richard Stacey and Dan Knowles, our two Directors, ably supported by a team of Surveyors and support staff.
Different firms of Surveyors work in different ways. Some are traditional firms that perhaps haven’t adapted a great deal over time but offer significant expertise. Some firms operate on volume based instructions, often at a cheap rate but perhaps not always at the level of service you’d want.
At Websters, the ethos that Richard and Dan promote in the team is to provide an excellent personal service at a reasonable price. We’ve moved with the times, with technology allowing us to remain competitive with our pricing, whilst still offering a high quality service. We’re not the cheapest and we’re not the most expensive but we possibly do offer the vest value for money.

market valuation reports
The purpose of a market valuation is to identify the value of a property at a specified date. This is provided in the form of a thorough report stating the professional opinion of a qualified Surveyor. The Chartered Surveyor that undertakes such a report must do so in accordance with the RICS Red Book, which are the valuation and professional standards set out by the governing body, providing a best practice guide.
A market valuation may be needed to calculate tax liabilities where inheritance or capital gains is involved, for anyone looking to purchase more equity in their shared ownership property, for anyone looking to pay off part of their help to buy loan or for the division of assets where divorce is concerned.
A Market Valuation is different then that to a market appraisal, the latter typically being carried out by an Estate Agent. Market Valuation reports are far more regulated and cannot take a position for the purposes of Marketing. They are highly informed opinions of Value.

We operate a small close-knit team which means each member is able to fully immerse themselves in your specific property matter, dedicating their time and attention to it. We use an online cloud based system which means we can access our database from the office, from home, when in your property and even on the go.
We are than happy to invite you to our offices for an initial meeting or conversation, but can also meet you either at your property in question or an office or a personal property. Our aim is for you to feel comfortable and in control throughout the process.
