A homebuyer survey was chosen by our client, as the property was a converted ground floor flat, in a former Victorian mid terraced house that had been converted to form two separate units. Our inspection revealed a number of defects and issues, including rising dampness to the solid brick masonry walls, and dilapidated outbuildings with asbestos panels.

Our two Directors are Richard Stacey and Dan Knowles, both Chartered Surveyors, members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuers.
Richard and Dan are both specialists in different areas of Surveying, albeit both being residential Chartered Surveyors at heart.
Richard has spent most of the last twenty years specialising in leasehold reform matters. He has helped numerous leaseholders extend their leases or buy their freeholds and has helped many freeholders by negotiating premiums they receive.
Dan has spent most of his career advising clients on Statutory valuations, including Compulsory Purchase Orders, Capital Gains tax and Inheritance tax.
Both are ably assisted by a team of other RICS qualified Surveyors and Valuers and support staff with decades of experience, themselves with various specialisms including Home Surveys.

Regulated by RICS and RICS Registered Valuer are two badges that we wear with honour. At times, it seems as if anyone who has ever watched Homes Under the Hammer thinks they’re a property expert. However, it takes years of experience to truly lay that claim.
Our Regulatory Body the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors set out very strict guidelines on how RICS Registered Chartered Surveyors must act, both in our professional ethics and in the detail and some of the content in our Market Valuation or Survey reports.
Our Surveyors have undertaken significant training to be deemed competent at what they do and in the case of being RICS Registered Valuers, in being recognised as such by a professional body.
