our directors and team

Websters Surveyors is headed by two Directors, Richard Stacey and Dan Knowles. Both having many years of Residential property valuation experience, they compliment each others skills nicely, having different specialisms.

Both are Chartered Surveyors and RICS Registered Valuers.

Richard’s main specialism is Leasehold reform (lease extensions and enfranchisement)

whilst Dan’s is in Statutory Valuations such as Compulsory Purchase, Capital Gains tax and Inheritance tax.

They have both presented groups of clients and professionals on an array of different topics.

Outisde of work, Richard tries to keep fit and healthy and enjoys family time. Dan has two young children so tries to keep sane and enjoys his family time, especially when it’s quiet.

Most of our Surveys are undertaken by Mark Heane who has close to thirty years professionally qualified experience. There’s little Mark hasn’t seen in property.

They are both ably supported by our team of Surveyors who are all RICS Registered Valuers.

lease extension and enfranchisement valuers

Leasehold reform is an area of valuation that is governed by strict rules and timelines. The valuation consists of not only mathematical theory but has many subjective points that are open to negotiation. This is the reason why it is important to seek a professional Chartered Surveyor that specialises in this field of valuation.

At Websters Surveyors, one of our directors, Richard Stacey, has over 15 years of experience in dealing with lease extensions and has negotiated hundred of fair settlements.

If you have been looking to extend your lease, acting quickly can potentially save you money. When your lease reaches 80 years unexpired, there is an extra element of value applied to your lease extension premium, called marriage value.

Our Chartered Surveyors can undertake a lease extension valuation for you, give you advice on how best to tackle the problem and even guide you through the process. Speak to a member of our team today.

local knowledge

Many of our Chartered Surveyors not only work in the same areas time and time again, getting to know the local markets inside out. They also live in them too. They socialise in the areas and bring up their families in them. We live, eat and breathe property and we back up our local knowledge with the technical expertise in Valuing and Surveying that gives us recognition as a safe, reliable pair of hands.

What’s more is that working with us is easy. Instructing us and paying our fees is simple and can be done online. We’re at the end of a phone and will happily sit down with you and explain how our reporting works.

We are your local Chartered Surveyors and Local RICS Registered Valuers.
