Immigration accommodation details measured survey
We can provide a report to satisfy Home Office / UKVI requirements for 'Accommodation details'. A property inspection report can be provided to prove to the Entry Clearance Officer that you have –
"Obtain(ed) an independent assessment of the number of rooms and occupants of the proposed accommodation. A report from a suitably qualified body certifying that a personal inspection has been carried our and giving details of accommodation inspected is usually acceptable for this purpose. Above all, the Entry Clearance officer must be satisfied that the accommodation will not become overcrowded within the definition of the Housing Act 1985 or that it will not contravene public health regulations." (Home Office / UKVI guide)
This is essentially a measured Survey, providing a commentary on whether or not minimum room sizes for the ages of the intended occupants are met. We will therefore need, as part of our instruction, to be made aware of the ages of the intended occupants so we can comment as appropriate.
Our reports are readily accepted as meeting Home Office reporting standards.
Once instructed, we are normally able to provide our report within a week and can often, if necessary meet tighter deadlines where required.
At Websters, we are Chartered Surveyors, regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Our services span most of London and some surrounding areas including Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and parts of Surrey and Sussex.
Please contact us if you would like to discuss your requirements on 020 8017 1943.
