RICS home surveys
A Home Survey is an inspection of a property to determine its condition, undertaken by an expert in building pathology. The Surveyor visits the property, carries out a very thorough inspection and then reports back on any problems they have uncovered.
There are different types of Home Surveys available, with the choice of which one to take dependent on the type of property and requirements. In the service grid above, we provide links to pages on Level 1, 2 and 3 Surveys as well as snagging reports.
At Websters Surveyors, we carry out surveys ranging from entry level Condition reports to thorough Building surveys. Each survey has a purpose and our team can help you decide on which survey is best for you.
The most common type of survey is the HomeBuyer survey. It is adequate for almost all property types and will provide enough detail and advice that will help the buyer make a more informed decision or in some cases help them negotiate a better purchase price or ask the seller to undertake works prior to exchange of contracts.
